Obituary

Richard A DeChellis 73, of Brockton died November 1, 2014 in the Brockton Hospital following a period of failing health. He is the husband of Judy (Burgess) DeChellis. He was born and raised in Boston and was the son of the late Mario and Mildred (Wilmot) DeChellis. He was a graduate of Don Bosco High School, Boston and served in the US Army and Army reserves. Richard worked as a machinist for more than 40 years for the Masoneilon Company in Avon retiring 10 years ago.
In addition to his wife Judy, Richard is survived by his three sons; Rich DeChellis and his girlfriend Tanya Porter of Brockton, Brian and his wife Dianne DeChellis of Maynard, and Chris DeChellis and his girlfriend Katherine Wilson of Walpole. His brothers; Paul and his wife Janis DeChellis of Whitman and Stephen and his wife Cathy DeChellis of Falmouth; and his two grandsons Liam and Connor. And many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday 4-8 pm in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton. A procession will form at the funeral home Thursday at 9 am for a funeral mass in St. Ann Church W. Bridgewater at 10 am. Cremation will follow.
