DeCrosta of Attleboro, MA formerly of Coventry, RI April 2, 2006. Richard W. DeCrosta. Husband of Barbara A. (Burnham) DeCrosta. Father of Debra Yearout of Willis, VA; Donna Maria Blanchette of N. Scituate, RI; Christine Dickison of Hope, RI and Cynthia Bunting of Ocala, FL. Grandfather of 3 and great grandfather of 1. Brother of Frank DeCrosta of Rehobeth, MA; Ann Celio of N. Providence; Claire Lightfoot of Providence and the late Joseph DeCrosta. Son of the late John and Francesca (Vitulli)DeCrosta. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. For many years he was a textile dye chemist in the textile industry. Mr. DeCrosta had been an EMT and Rescue Captain in the Central Coventry Volunteer Fired Department.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 2 pm at Shepherd of the Valley UM Church 604 Seven Mile Rd, Hope, RI. In lieu of flowers donations in Richard’s name may be made to Central Coventry Fire Dept. 2847 Flat River Rd, Coventry, RI.
