Obituary

Richard L. Knight, 85, of Brockton, died February 16, 2011 at his home, surrounded by family. He was the husband of the late Joan A. (Olivieri) Knight. A lifelong resident of Brockton, he was the son of the late Carroll and Edith (Soderbom) Knight. He was the father of Jill Wood and Denise Knight of Brockton, Richard J. Knight of Lowell and Melissa Howe and Matthew Knight of Avon and the late Michael Knight; grandfather of 14; great grandfather of nine; brother of Alice Ferbert, Vernon Knight, Carroll “Buster” Knight and the late Edith Fisher, Gloria Prosper, Gertrude Seelye, Gladys Nash, Kenneth Knight and David Knight. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home., 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Sunday 1-4pm. A Graveside Service will be held Monday at 11am in the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
