Richard R. Lombardi, Sr.
, 80, of Wareham, formerly of Brockton died Thursday, October 25, 2007 at his home after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Gatt) Lombardi.
Born November 23, 1926 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Albert Lombardi and Jenossa (Pagliarini) Lombardi. He was a resident of Brockton until he moved to Wareham in 1992. He attended Berkley School of Music. He worked as a realtor for the Tighe Realtor Co. for over 35 years. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and served in World War II. He served on the U.S. Samuel Chase Ship.
He was former president of the Musicians Union, the Local M.L.S, and the Board of Realtors. He was also a member of the Lions Club and I.T.A.M. Vets. He was lead musician and singer of the High Hat's Band for over 35 years.
He is survived by his children, Richard R. Lombardi, Jr. of Braintree, Robert D. Lombardi of Woburn, Jane Caswell of Wareham, Beth McMullen of Wareham; he is also survived by 11 grand children, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton on Monday, Oct. 29th at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Sunday 2:00PM-5:00PM.
