Richard B. McPherson, 60, of Brockton, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at his home in Brockton. He was the husband of Lynette A. (Streeter) McPherson. Born May 11, 1957 in Cohasset, MA, he was a son of the late John McPherson and Barbara (Ainslee) McPherson. Richard was raised and educated in Cohasset. He delivered oil for Trojan Oil Company for many years. Some of Richard's interest were fishing and camping. He enjoyed music and demolition derbies. Richard loved spending time with his family, especially vacationing on John's Pond, Cape Cod. He is survived by his wife, Lynette A. (Streeter) McPherson; his children, Kenneth McPherson, Heather McPherson, Tim Von Rump, Heidi (McPherson) Aiello, Richard B. McPherson, Jr. and his wife Jessica (Brogan) McPherson, Patrick McPherson, Joseph McPherson, Jamie Pearson and Andrew McPherson; his grandchildren, Kimberly, Shane, Olivia, Amanda, Jannel, Tim jr., Donovan, Hannah, Brandon, Christian, Emma, Skyy, Gavin, Joshua, Lyllian, Zoey, Sorina, Lyndon, Colton; his great grandchildren, Maelynn, Josephine, Levi, Abel and Alena; his siblings, Madeleine Russell and her husband James, Daniel McPherson and his wife Lisa, Carole McPherson, Kevin McPherson and his wife Suzanne, and Patricia Patsel and her husband Terry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Billy McPherson and Marlene Simeone. Calling hours will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday, February 22nd from 10:00AM – 11:00AM followed by a funeral prayer service at 11:00AM.
