Obituary

Richard J. Moore age 68 of Brockton died Sunday October 23, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was born and raised in Brockton a son of the late James and Theresa (McLaughlin) Moore and lived most of his life in the city.
For many years Richard was a carpenter with A-American Roofing & Remodeling Company in Bridgewater. Fishing was his passion and he was a member of the Canal Sportsman Club in Bourne. He was also a friend of Bill W.

Richard will be remembered as quiet, private and modest man who was always ready to help someone in need.
Richard was the husband of Doreen R. (Busch) Moore of Fall River and father of Danielle Moore of Brockton. He leaves 3 grandchildren Ariana Aiekens, Stephen Curtin,III and Nevaeh Curtin. He was the brother of Carol Foggie of Onset, Linda Lang of Florida, Deborah Sylvia of Berkley, John J. Moore of New Hampshire, David Knight of Bridgewater and Terry Grieco of Brockton. Step-brother of Thomas Berry of Brockton and the late Donna Verdone. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (rte.123) Brockton on Thursday 4-7pm with a prayer service at 6:30pm. Donations in Richard’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
