Obituary

Richard J. Reed, 45 years, died unexpectedly Sunday December 11, at his home in Tampa. Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Hollis I and Lillian (Tipton) Reed. Richard was raised in Brockton, attended Brockton schools and had been a resident of Brockton until moving to Tampa seven years ago. While a resident of Brockton he had been employed as a truck driver for various companies. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and fishing.

He is survived by four brothers, Hollis Reed Jr. of Stoughton, David Reed, William Reed and Brian Reed all of Brockton, two sisters Donna Fargo of Brockton and Susan Reed of Wolcott, NY, and many nieces and nephews. He was the husband of the late Susan (Olson) Reed and brother of the late Michael Reed.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Conley Funeral and Cremation Service, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton.
