Richard L. Robbins
Richard "Larry" Robbins, 54, of Brockton, died Saturday, July 21, 2007 at his home in Brockton.
Born September 6, 1952 in Boston, he was the son of the late Leonard S. Robbins and Leila (Key) Robbins. He was raised in Roxbury and Dorchester and attended Boston Public Schools. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1970. During high school, he played drums in the band "Constellations" with his brothers and fellow musicians. In 1977, he married Vivian (Nelson) Robbins. He has been a Brockton resident since 2002 when he moved in with his brother, Leonard.
He became a Master Mason in 1986 and was a member of the M.W. Prince Hall Grand Lodge, FA.M of Massachusetts (Lodge #12). He worked for Raytheon Company where he was on a medical leave of absence until his death.
He is survived by his children, Bridgette Robbins of Cincinnati, Ohio and
Richard L. Robbins
, Jr.; his brothers, Leonard Robbins, Kenneth Robbins, and John Robbins; his grandchildren, Keyondra Robbins, Shanice Robbins, and Destiny Page; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Funeral Information
Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte 123), Brockton on Thursday, August 2nd at 11:00AM.
