Richard R. “Rich” Rondeau age 57 of Hanson, died suddenly on Thursday September 14, 2017 at Signature Healthcare. He was the devoted husband of Donna M. (Richardson) Rondeau. Rich was born and raised in Brockton a son of the late Louis and Evelyn (Plasse) Rondeau and had lived in Hanson for the past 25 years.
A 1978 graduate of Brockton High School, Rich was a facilities maintenance worker at all locations of the Crescent Credit Union. In his free time, Rich enjoyed photography, long walks in the woods, motor cycles, motor cross, playing guitar and boating. Rich will be remembered as a happy, talkative, caring and sensitive man. He especially cherished time spent with his wife, boys and grandchildren.
Rich is survived by two sons Daniel L. Rondeau and his wife Katie of Plympton and Christopher R. Rondeau and his companion Julian Ruggerio of Kingston and five grandsons Talan, Deegan, Landen, Beckham and Roczen. He was the brother of Janine Baker of Whitman, Joan Rondeau of Brockton, Paula Hunton of Victoria, Texas and the late Leonard Rondeau and Ronald Rondeau. Rich is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Monday 4-7pm. A procession will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30 am for a funeral Mass in Christ the King at 10:30 am. Burial at a later date. Donations in Rich’s name may be made to the Silver Lake School District Sports Program, 182 Summer St., Box 256, Suite 6, Kingston, MA 02364 or at SLWarriors.com.
