He is survived by his wife, Joan Stern; his three daughters, Karen and Lynn Stern of GA and Nancy Hardy of CA; his son, Richard F. Stern, Jr. of CA; his four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his three brothers, Edward Stern, Robert Stern both of Brockton and Joe Stern of NV; his two sisters, Kathleen Stern Snelgrove of West Bridgewater and Dorothy Stern Newman of TX; his former wife, Edna Bassett Stern. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Stern Angelo. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in California.
