Rita P. (Morgan) Hull, age 92, of Avon, died peacefully at her home, January 23, 2018. Rita was the loving wife for 70 years of the late Walter J. Hull. Born, raised and educated in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Hannigan) Morgan. For over 50 years, Rita had been a resident of Avon and had been a longtime communicant and Eucharistic Minister at St. Michael’s Church, and volunteered at the Avon Council on Aging. She was employed by various banks in the Boston area, and retired from the medical office of Dr. Levine and Dr. Fleischmann. Rita loved to entertain and socialize, enjoyed knitting, reading, cooking, gardening, birdwatching and shopping.
Rita is survived by her daughters Kathleen T. Dulong of Avon, Karen R. Hull of RI, and Nancy M. Colarusso and her husband Carl, Jr. of N. Easton; 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Katherine Fewore, Alfred Morgan, Jr. and Robert Morgan.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday, January 31, 11am-12pm, followed by a Funeral Service at noon. Burial will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at 2:15pm.
Rita loved her cats and dogs, in lieu of flowers the family wishes you to consider donations in her name to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Mass, 1300 West Elm St. Ext., Brockton, MA 02301.
