Obituary

Rita T. (Tibbetts) Lindskog, 74, of West Bridgewater, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the Brigham & Women's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Kenneth J. Lindskog. Born July 12, 1945 in Manchester, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late George Tibbetts and Rachael (Rheault) Tibbetts. Rita worked as an Assistant Underwriter for Quincy Mutual Insurance Company and enjoyed working there for many years. Rita was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling on her Harley Davidson together with her loving husband. Rita also belonged to an all women's motorcycle group called The Motor Maids which she was a life member and enjoyed traveling to their conventions which are held in different US states and in Canada every year. Rita also enjoyed tending to her many flower gardens and relaxing in her gazebo. She loved going to car shows with her husband and showing off their classic car which she also helped him restore. Rita also loved the good times at the Moose Festival in NH with good friends that she has been attending for the last 25 years where she was also married. We all loved her smile and laugh and will be sadly missed by all. In addition to her husband Kenneth, she is survived by her daughters, Angela J. Murphy, Lisa J. Holmes and her husband Cory and Sharon A. Yonker and her husband Joseph; her grandchildren, Melissa Murphy, Kasey Holmes, Cory Holmes, Madeline Holmes, Kathleen Lynch, Danielle Lynch, Emily Lynch and Sierra Yonker; her nephew, Christopher Lindskog.
