Obituary

Rita A. (Shea) Pizzano, 83 years of Avon, died April 5, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Wife of Anthony L. Pizzano for 60 years. Born and raised in Somerville, daughter of the late Dennis T. and Margaret (Sullivan) Shea. Rita had been employed for 28 years by Shaw’s Supermarket. She enjoyed traveling, bingo, and watching sports.

She was the mother of Marilyn A. Rogers and her husband James E. Jr. of Medford, NY and Andrea L. Fitzgerald and her husband Clark of Bridgewater; grandmother of Jennifer L. Daubenspeck and her husband Matt, James E. Rogers, III, Clark A. Fitzgerald and Lee Ann Fitzgerald, great grandmother of Emily G. Daubenspeck. She was the sister of the late John Shea and Mary Madsen.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday at 9:30am. Funeral Blessing in St. Michael Church, Avon at 10:30am. Burial in St. Michael Cemetery, Avon. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8pm.
