Rita T. Viola, 86, of Brockton, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a short illness. Born May 16, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Viola and Assunta (Raspa) Viola. She graduated from Brockton High School in 1950. She was a Brockton resident for over 70 years. Rita's first job was working in the office of the Charles Eaton Shoe Company for several years. She then worked as a Financier for GMAC in Brockton until her retirement. She was devoted to her family. She is survived by her Nephews and Niece, Robert Anania and his wife Linda Jensen of Avon, CT, Kenneth Anania of South Easton and Laraine Beliveau and her husband Russell of Gold River, CA. She was the sister of the late Carolyn Anania and Carmela Anania. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday, October 9th at 9:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:00AM.
