Obituary

Robert F. Austin, Jr. age 41 of Boston died March 17, 2023 after a brief illness. He was born in Stoughton a son of Susan Finn of New Bedford and the son of Robert F. Austin Sr. and his wife Donna of Bridgewater. He lived most of his life in Brockton before moving to Boston.

Rob attended Brockton High School where he was a track standout. He was very proud of his on-line company Kick Flipz.
A talented artist, Rob also enjoyed tattooing as well as camping, traveling to new places and loved antiquing. Most importantly, Rob loved being with his family especially his kids.

Rob was the devoted father of Arielle Austin and Kaleb Austin both of Holbrook and Julian Austin of Boston. He was the brother of Melanie Austin and her wife Kathleen of Wrentham, Katie Barrett and her husband James of Brockton and stepbrother to Jason Thibedeau and his wife Leslie Dozono of Seattle, as well as his fiancée Catie Paquette of Boston. He was also the uncle of Max Barrett, Carter Austin and Lena and Jamie Thibedeau Dozono.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday March 29, 2023 at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton from 3-6pm with a service at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Go Fund Me .
