Obituary

Robert E. Barrett 81 years of Brockton formerly of Boston died Tuesday morning at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Eleanor (Callahan) Barrett.
Mr. Barrett was born and raised in Boston and attended Boston Schools. During WW II he served in the US Army in the European-African Theater. For many years he had been a welder in the Boston area.
Mr. Barrett was an avid sports fan and loved the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
He is survived by a daughter Linda A. Lundin of Cambridge and a son Robert G. Barrett of Plymouth.
He also leaves 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren
He was the father of the late Sandra Barrett
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held Thursday at 12:30 pm in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Arrangements by the Conley Funeral Home, Brockton
