Obituary

Robert L. “BJ” May, Jr. 29 years of Brockton died unexpectedly May 23, 2008. Son of Robert L. and Frances J. (Holmes) May, Sr. Born at the New London/Groton Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT, he was raised in Brockton and was a 1997 graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Tech. Rob had been employed as a plumber for various companies in the Brockton and South Shore area. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed sports.

He is also survived by a son Joshuah L. Ricciardi-May; a sister Kimberley L. May of Brockton; his grandmothers “Sito” Charline (May) Balmes of Brockton and Shirley (Holmes) Grassa of Somerville and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting Hours will be held Thursday at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton 4-8pm with a prayer service at 7:30pm. Cremation to follow.
