Trieger of Ft. Myers, FL formerly of Brockton April 7, 2007 Robert J. “Bob” Trieger, Sr. 79 years. He was the husband of the late Joan M. (Peters) Trieger for 47 years. He is survived by his children Christine Silva, Robert, Jr., Paul and his wife Diane, Jo-Ann Daxberger and her husband Frank and John all of Brockton. Grandfather of Melissa, Jared, Tiffany, Mathew, Courtney, Robbie, Shawn and Carly. He leaves his wife Irene (Armstrong) Trieger and her sons Billy and Tommy Roberts.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 10 am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish (formerly St. Colman) at 11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 pm. Donations in Bob’s name may be made to Old Colony Hospice One Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02472,for online donations

Obituary
Robert J. “Bob” Trieger, Sr. 79 years of Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of Brockton died Saturday in Brockton under the care of hospice. He was born and raised in Dorchester a son of the late Julius and Pauline (Flynn) Trieger. Mr. Trieger had been a resident of Brockton for many years before retiring to Ft. Myers, Florida in 2000.
During WW II he served in the US Army and continued his military service with the Massachusetts National Guard, retiring as SSgt in 1966.
Mr. Trieger retired in 1997 as chief expeditor at Cole-Hersee in South Boston after over 50 years with the company.
When living in Brockton he had been a communicant of St. Colman Church where he volunteered with bingo nights and bowled on their 10 Pin league. He also enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, Foxwoods and the dog track.
He is survived by his children Christine Silva, Robert Trieger Jr., Paul Trieger, Jo-Ann Daxberger and John Trieger all of Brockton. Grandfather of eight. He leaves his wife Irene (Armstrong) Trieger and was the husband for 47 years of the late Joan M. (Peters) Trieger
He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Marion Trieger and Charles Trieger
