Robert F. “Bobby” Reagan, Jr., age 56, of Middleboro, formerly of Carver, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 22, 2016. Born and raised in Brockton, he was the beloved son of Robert F. and Suzanne E. (Campbell) Reagan of East Bridgewater. Bobby was a 1977 graduate of Brockton High School, where he was a member of the BHS Ski team, and attended Stonehill College and Massasoit Community College. He had been employed as a sales representative for Merkert Enterprise and Acosta, and worked in construction for Payne Boucher Construction of Woods Hole. An avid golfer and a former member of the Brockton Country Club, Bobby also enjoyed playing hockey in his youth, attending his sons’ sports games, skiing, fishing and motor cross. Bobby was known for his generosity, big heart and devotion to his sons, parents and many good friends.
In addition to his parents, Bobby is survived by two sons, Christopher J. and Matthew F. Reagan of Wareham. He was the brother of Janyce L. Reagan of S. Yarmouth, John P. Reagan and his wife Nancy of West Des Moines, IA, and the late Christopher R. Reagan; uncle of Colleen M., Patrick J., and Kerry C. Reagan of West Des Moines, IA.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday 4-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home Friday at 9am, followed by a private burial in Melrose Cemetery. Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made in Bobby’s name to the Christopher R. Reagan Memorial Scholarship Award Fund, c/o Harbor One Bank, 295 Bedford St., Bridgewater, MA.
