Obituary

Robert H. Day, age 59 of Raynham died on November 21, 2016 at his home. Born and raised in Brockton, he was a son of the late Harry and Theresa (McDonough) Day and was a 1975 graduate of Brockton High School. He was the husband of Karen M. (Hinchliffe) Day.

Robert was a sales rep in the electrical controls industry. He enjoyed all sports and was a handy man who enjoyed working on home projects. He was also a lover of dogs and enjoyed walking with his dog, Toby. Robert will be remembered as a charismatic and hardworking man who was devoted to his family. He was proud of his children and grandchildren who gave him the most enjoyment in life.

Robert is survived by his wife Karen, his three children, Melissa Cappiello and her husband Marc of Raynham, Eric Day of Honolulu, HI and Allison Day of Raynham; 2 grandchildren, Nicholas and Chase Cappiello; his siblings, Jack Day of Cutjoekey, FL, Janet Dufresne and her husband Al of Bridgewater, Clifford Day of Brockton and Carol Ann Day-Jezard of Brockton as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St (Rte. 123), Brockton on Monday, 5-8pm. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann Church, 660 North Main Street, Raynham on Tuesday at 10am. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Street Cemetery in Raynham.
