Dignan of Brockton April 9, 2007, Robert T. Dignan, 49 years. Son of the late Edward P. Sr. and Catherine M. (Schopp) Dignan. Loving father of Sean R. Dignan. Brother of Edward P. Dignan, Jr. Former husband of Linda A. (Perry) Briggs all of Brockton. Friend of Reynolda Weeks.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 12noon. Visiting hours Friday 5-8 pm. Burial in Melrose Cemetery at a later date. Obituary

Robert T. Dignan, 49 years died Monday at Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Cambridge and raised in Brockton, a son of the late Edward P. Sr. and Catherine M. (Schopp) Dignan. He was a graduate of Brockton High School. He had been employed for over 20 years at Bradlees Warehouse in Braintree and for past 5 years he had worked at the Weymouth and Newtonville post office branches. Robert loved spending time at the beach especially Nantasket Beach, he was also an avid sports fan of Red Sox and Patriots.

He is survived by a son, Sean R. Dignan, a brother Edward P. Dignan, Jr., his former husband of Linda A. (Perry) Briggs all of Brockton and his friend Reynolda Weeks.
