Online Obituaries Robert Timothy Donahue, 73, of Brockton, passed away on April 1, 2016, after a brief illness. Robert 'Bob' was the husband of Carol A. (O'Brien), for 49 years. Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of the late Timothy and Isabel (Riordan), and brother of the late John. He graduated from Brockton High School class of 1960. Robert served the city of Brockton as a dedicated employee of the Water Department for 43 years, retiring in 2005 as the General Foreman. He enjoyed sports, particularly hockey, and was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots. He also enjoyed working on and driving 'muscle cars' as a young man. In addition to his wife, he is survived by their two sons, Timothy R. and his wife Michelle; and Brian M. and his wife Lisa. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Megan, Marc, Trevor, Talia, and Mason. Funeral Information A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 in the funeral home at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Wednesday from 5:00 to 9:00PM.
