Obituary

Robert M. Dunn, 84, of Lakeville, MA died on October 16th at home. Born in Brockton, and a graduate of Brockton High School and Butera School of Art, Bob lived in Lakeville for many years. He worked at Maxwell Library at Bridgewater State College.

He was a son of the late George W. and Mary A. Dunn, and twin brother of the late Richard W. Dunn.

Both Dunn brothers contracted polio in 1931, and later shared a doctor with President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Bob was a talented landscape painter, musician, Patriots fan, and golf enthusiast.

Surviving family members include nieces and nephews Marianne, Maureen, Monica, Maribeth, Mark and Matthew, and sister-in-law Mary C. Dunn.

A funeral service will be held at Conley Funeral Home (138 Belmont St, Brockton) at 11:30 am on Wednesday October 21st, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery (99 N Cary St, Brockton).
