Online Obituaries Robert R. Farland, 74, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Morton Hospital in Taunton. He was the husband of Patricia (Tarentino) Farland of Raynham. Born January 3, 1943 in New Bedford, he had been a resident of Raynham for the past 30 years. Robert was the Vice President of Retail Operations for Morris Alper Co., in Framingham for 25 years from which he retired. Most recently he had been working for Ron Emmas Enterprises Frozen Food Division. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He was a communicant of St. Ann Catholic Church in Raynham, he enjoyed playing golf, fishing and hosting holiday parties. His true love was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife Patricia, he is survived by a daughter; Colleen Dionisio and her husband Stephen of Braintree; a son, Robert M. Farland and his wife Kyle of Taunton; his grandchildren, Alissa Farland, Hunter Farland both of Taunton and Dominic Dionisio of Braintree; a sister, Phyllis Daniels of Acushnet; a brother, Albert Farland of New Bedford; two aunts, Simone and Therese Beaulieu, both of New Bedford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Main St., Raynham, MA where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Tuesday 4:00 to 7:00PM.
