Obituary

Robert J. Gugliotti, 78 years of Weymouth died Thursday April 2, 2009 at the VA Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Chelsea, a son of the late John and Rose (Arronzalla) Gugliotti. Robert proudly served in the US Navy defending our country during the Korean Conflict and received the National Defense Service Medal.

He is survived by his brother John J. Gugliotti of E. Boston, his sons Robert J. Gugliotti, II of Brockton and John Gugliotti and many nieces and nephews. His is also survived by his former wife Ruth D. Gugliotti-Maffeo. He is predeceased by a son, Bobby Gugliotti, a brother and four sisters.

Robert selflessly donated his remains to the Harvard Medical School, Boston for medical research. A funeral service and interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne will be held at a later date.
