Online Obituaries Robert Stanley Holyoke, Sr., 73, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta with his son by his side. He was born August 17, 1943 in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, the son of Olin David and Dorothy Elizabeth (Dearith) Holyoke. He was educated in the schools of West Bridgewater and was employed for many years in construction as a home builder. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing, pony pulling, farming and gardening. Robert is survived by his son, Robert S. Holyoke, Jr. of Taunton; his 3 sisters, Dorothy Marguerite Holyoke, Blanch Agncis Holyoke, Carole Loraine Holyoke; his brother, George Alvin Holyoke; his grandson, Robert S. Holyoke III; his granddaughter, Jessica Ashley Holyoke; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Olin David Holyoke, Jr., Richard Lawrence Holyoke, William Edward Holyoke, Thomas Allen Holyoke and Pauline Frances Holyoke. Funeral Information A Memorial Gathering will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) WEST BRIDGEWATER on Saturday, February 25th from 12:00-2:00PM followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00PM. Interment will follow on Monday, February 27th at 10:00AM in St. Mary's Cemetery, Middleboro. On Saturday after the Memorial Service, All are invited back to Samoset Rod & Gun Club, 350 Matfield St., West Bridgewater at 3:00PM for a celebration of life.
