Father of Donita Lenahan of Bridgewater, Jessica Moore of California, and Carla Mazgelis of Middleboro. Grandfather of Timothy, Michael and Laurie Lenahan and Thomas and Andrew Mazgelis. Great grandfather of Paige Lenahan.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 10 am.Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8pm.

Obituary Information

Robert C. Jackson died Sunday morning at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Brockton, son of the late Jesse G. and Emma S. (Carlson) Jackson, he was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1939 and attended Boston Trade School for Electrical Repair. He was an Army veteran of WWII who served overseas in both England and France with the Chemical Warfare Unit. For over 33 years he had been employed as an Equipment Installer for New England Telephone. In his youth, he played basketball for the South Congregational Church and enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, woodworking, summers at the Cape and was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Josephine T. (Metta) Jackson, three daughters Donita Lenahan of Bridgewater, Jessica Moore of San Francisco, California, and Carla Mazgelis of Middleboro, five grandchildren Timothy, Michael and Laurie Lenahan and Thomas and Andrew Mazgelis and one great grandchild Paige Lenahan.
