Robert S. Kinsella, 84, of Brockton, MA died Sunday November 17th at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bob suffered for ten years with Lewy Body Dementia.

Bob was born October 25, 1940 in the Bronx, N.Y. son of the late Michael and Violet Moore Kinsella. He attended St. Patrick's School in Brockton. He was active in the City of Brockton his whole life. He was one of the founders of the "Challenger Baseball Division" for disabled children. He did numerous fundraisers and supported the March of Dimes and Cerebral Palsy organizations. He was instrumental in the Brockton Special Olympics. Bob served on the Mass Hospital School Baileys Program and Boston Floating Hospital Board. He was a faithful sponsor of all city sports. Bob was the proprietor of "Kinsella Cleaning Service" for over 50 years. Bob also worked at Howard Johnson Plant in Brockton, St. Edwards School, and the Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton. Bob enjoyed his summer vacations to Cape Cod and his many trips to Bermuda. He was an avid fan of the Brockton Rox.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Joyce (Gustafson) Kinsella with whom they had three children, Robert S. Kinsella Jr. and his wife Jennifer, Gina Tempesta and her husband Nicholas, and Shannon Kinsella. He leaves his loving grandchildren of whom he was so proud of. Shelby and Robert Kinsella, Grady, Raegan, Reece and Grant Tempesta. Bob was a loving brother to Michael Kinsella, Jr. sisters Carol Tautkus and husband Raymond, Violet Gould and husband Paul, Sarah Dow and Mark Andrade, and the Late Rosa Mehl. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Walter "David" Mehl and sister in laws Jeanne Gustafson Comstock and Donna Gustafson. Bob was also the father of Mark and Erik Kinsella. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bob was so proud to serve his country in the Army. Bob was proud of his Irish Catholic heritage and his Shamrock Swimming Pool that the whole neighborhood enjoyed.

Visitation will be held at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main Street (Route 28) West Bridgewater, MA on Sunday, November 24th from to 2:00PM - 5:00PM. Robert's mass of Christian burial to be held at St. Ann Catholic Church, 103 North Main Street, West Bridgewater, MA on Monday, November 25th, at 10:00AM. Interment in Pine Hill Cemetery, 483 North Main Street, West Bridgewater, MA.
