Robert E. Lee was born in Boston, MA September 21, 1934. He passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 87, surrounded by the love of his family. Bob was a wonderful and loving husband, father to his children, and Peepa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He grew up in Quincy with his parents Ralph J. Lee and Esther W (Mahoney) Lee, his siblings Ralph, Peter, Thomas, and Carol. Bob was a graduate of North Quincy High School in 1952. He joined the service in 1953 and served his country for 3 years. He was a salesman for 35 years. He met the love of his life in 1960 and got married to Betty (Keenan) Lee in June of 1962. They would have been married 60 years in June 2022. They purchased their home in Brockton in June of 1968. He loved playing golf and enjoyed taking his girls fishing. For several years, he was involved with CB radio and then went on to get his HAM radio license. He would spend hours communicating with people all over the world. He loved watching football and after being diagnosed with Dementia he really loved watching the old black and white westerns. He is survived by his wife Betty, his daughters Diane (Lee) Levesque and her husband Christopher, Karen (Lee) Bernard and her husband Paul, Linda (Lee) Donohue and her husband Frank. His grandchildren Kristen (Gonsalves) Pimentel and her husband Marc, Kelsey (Bernard) Coppenrath and her husband Brian, Erin and Jason Bernard, Jenna and Nicholas Donohue. His great-grandchildren Jaxson Pimentel and Mason Coppenrath. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt. 28) West Bridgewater on Thursday, March 24th at 10:00 AM thence to St. Ann Church, 103 North Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, March 23rd from 4:00-7:00 PM.
