McDermott of Brockton, November 29, 2005, Robert W. McDermott, 71 years. Brother of Thomas F. McDermott and his wife Dorothy of Roslindale, Anne M. Fiore and her husband Edward of Holliston and Joanne P. Donovan and her husband Paul of Brockton.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Brighton. Visitation Friday 8 to 8:45 am.

Obituary

Mr. McDermott died Tuesday evening at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. Born and raised in Boston, he was the son of the late Thomas F. and Anne T. (Ross) McDermott. He was a graduate of Boston Trade School Class of 1953 and had been a resident of Brockton since 1976. He had been employed at Gustin-Kraemer Company in Boston for 20 years. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Red Sox and the Patriots teams.

He is survived by a brother, Thomas F. McDermott and his wife Dorothy of Roslindale, two sisters, Anne M. Fiore and her husband Edward of Holliston and Joanne P. Donovan and her husband Paul of Brockton and several nieces and a nephew
