Owens all of Brockton. Brother of Ralph L. Owens Jr. and Roy E. Owens both of South Easton and Harold F. Owens of Brockton.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. Obituary Information

Robert E. Owens died Saturday morning at his home after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of 52 years of Dianne (Hall) Owens. He was born August 3, 1926, son of the late Ralph L. and Blanche Y. (Bellavance) Owens. He was a lifelong resident of Brockton and attended St. Patrick School and Brockton High School. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII who served in the Pacific Theater as a “Sea-bee”. Mr. Owens owned and operated Bay State Restaurant Products of Brockton for the last 43 years.

He is survived by his wife Dianne (Hall) Owens, one son Robert M. Owens of Brockton and three daughters Gayle R. Conboy of Plympton, Beth Ann Collyer and Polly A. Owens both of Brockton, three brothers Ralph L. Owens Jr. and Roy E. Owens both of South Easton and Harold F. Owens of Brockton, seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
