Robert Peace, 82, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at his home in Brockton. He was the husband of Romaine D. Peace. Born in Boston on March 28, 1938, he was the son of the late Charles Peace and Beatrice (Cameron) Peace. After being honorably discharged from the United States Air Force, Robert attended Northeastern University and Boston State College for his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree, respectfully. He was a Boston Public School teacher for over 20 years, and taught at Dorchester High School. Robert enjoyed listening to music, watching football and baseball, gardening, swimming, playing pool, and high school educational clubs. In addition to his wife, Romaine, Robert is survived by his daughter, Danyielle Peace Shelby and her husband Michael "Ralph"; his stepson George Andrews; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; his brother Roger; his sister Beatrice Harris Lane and her husband Wayne; his sister in law Betty Peace; his nieces and nephews; many nieces and nephews; and many sisters and brothers in law. He was predeceased by his brothers Ralph Peace, Sr. and Donald Peace; his sister, Rosa Peace and his stepson Antonio Andrews. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rt.123), Brockton on Monday, February 22nd from 10:00-11:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM.
