Obituary

Robert P. Pelchar, age 75, of Brockton, formerly of Marston Mills, died May 5, 2012 at Kindred Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Stoughton, following a period of failing health. He was the beloved husband of Anne Marie (Reino) Pelchar. Bob was born and raised in Chicopee, a son of the late Frank and Marceline (Ocxkowski) Pelchar. He was a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and had been employed as a Pharmacist at the VA Medical Center, both in Brockton and West Roxbury for 20 years. Bob had been an Astronomy and Photography enthusiast. He was a kind and generous man who loved his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a sister Evelyn Roy of Chicopee and several nieces and nephews. He was the twin brother of the late Richard Pelchar and brother of the late Thomas Pelchar.

A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Patrick Church, 335 Main Street, Brockton, Monday, May 14 at 9am. Visiting Hours are omitted. Donations in Bob’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472, for online donations click here .
