Robert Mitchell Slade, Jr., 59, of Brockton passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at his home. He was born February 10, 1964 in Stoughton, MA he was the son of Robert M. Slade Sr. and the late Dorothy "Jean" Baker Matson and her husband the late Carl A. Matson. Raised and educated in Brockton. He graduated from South Eastern Regional Vocational High School in 1983 and went on to work alongside his family to run the family business C.A. Matson Glass. He was the co-owner of CA Matson Glass Company in Brockton. Running the family business was a big part of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and close friends. His love of the Redsox, Patriots, his less than subtle Jeep Gladiator and 80's rock music was legendary!

He is survived by his loving children, Robert M. Slade Jr. of Fall River, Chad J. Slade of Whitman MA, Justin P. Slade of Bridgewater MA and Jamie J. Slade of Fort Myers FL. He is also survived by his father Robert M. Slade Sr. and his wife Kim Krenzler Slade both of Punta Gorda FL, brother James M. Slade of Bridgewater MA, step sister Debbie Trenovich Jellison, step brothers Matt Trenovich, Mark Trenovich and several nieces, nephews and many dear friends as well as his feline companion "Bella".

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, April 15th in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 S. Main St., (Rt.28) West Bridgewater from 1:00-4:00 PM followed by a short reading and voluntary eulogies after the reading.
