STONE of Brockton unexpectedly July 31, 2002, Robert W. Stone 41 years. Son of William F. and Dorothy M. (Harrington) Stone of Brockton. Brother of Richard T. and Randy A. Stone both of Brockton, Rhonda T. McElhinney of Bridgewater, Robin Scannell of Brockton and the late Ronald “Ziggy” Stone. Uncle of Laurel Scannell and Ryan and Arielle McElhinney.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Nicholas Church, W. Abington at 9 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 PM.

Robert W. Stone died unexpectedly Wednesday evening at the Brockton Hospital. He was born in Boston son of William F. and Dorothy M. (Harrington) Stone of Brockton and remained a lifelong resident of the city.

Robert was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1979 where he played varsity football and baseball.
