Robert i. Tonucci Robert I. Tonucci, 75, of Brockton, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 in Stoughton after a short illness. He was the husband of Esther (Adams) Tonucci. Born July 20, 1936 in Quincy, he was the son of the late Greco Tonucci and Mary (DiFederico) Tonucci. Raised in Quincy he graduated from Quincy High School in 1954. He served in the United States Navy. He was a Naval Boxing Champion. Robert was a Ship fitter at Quincy Shipyard for several years. He also was Regional Director of York Steak House, Owner of the Pickle Barrel Pub in Easton, District Manager for Bertucci's Restaurants and employee of Brockton VA Medical Center. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and monthly trips to Foxwoods. He is survived by his wife, Esther (Adams) Tonucci of Brockton; his children, Robert Greco Tonucci and his wife Chom-I of Maryland, Lisa Marie Sweet and her husband Mike of East Bridgewater, Guy Adams Tonucci and his wife Peggy of Berkley and Annette Rene Sarantopoulos and her husband Peter of Bridgewater; his grandchildren, Kayla Tonucci and Mark Tonucci both of Berkley, Zachary, Alexis and Sophia Sarantopoulos all of Bridgewater; his siblings, Anita Zukowski of Brockton, Geraldine Czneriawski of Randolph and Gregory Tonucci of Quincy; his cousin, Daniel Koss of FL; he is the brother-in-law of Janet Martin of VT, Shirley Gauthier of CT and Victor Czerniawski of Randolph; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday, November 17th at 8:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM.
