Obituary

Robert M. Varnadore “Mickey” 73, of Brockton, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021, at Massachusetts General Hospital.

He was the husband of Linda M. (Grasso) Varnadore. They were married for 42 years.

Born and raised in Chester, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Robert M. and Colleen (Baker) Varnadore.

Mr. Varnadore served his country proudly in the United States Navy.

He worked as a delivery driver for Albert Basse Associates, delivering signs and displays to local supermarkets.

Mickey enjoyed golf, fishing, and was a “Jack of all trades” often puttering around the house working on projects. He had a very laid-back personality and was a New England sports fan, especially baseball, football, and golf.

Besides his wife Linda, he leaves his children, Shane M. Varnadore, of Brockton and Christopher J. Varnadore, and his girlfriend, Teresa, of Brockton. He was the brother of the late James McCormick.

To honor Mickey’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
