Obituary

Robert C. Walbourne, age 81, of Cedarville, formerly of Brockton, died February 7, 2012 at Jordan Hospital following a period of failing health.
Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of the late Ernest and Anna (Bergeron) Walbourne. Following his graduation from Brockton High School, he was employed as a photographer at Fore River Shipyard. For many years he had been employed at the George E. Keith Company and retired as a Foreman. Bob was known for his good nature and loved to travel and spend time at the beach.

He is survived by a sister Marion Cole and brother Richard Walbourne both of Brockton; two nephews David Walbourne and Donald Harper both of Taunton and a niece Cheryl Reidy of Brockton. He also leaves his longtime friends Raymond Yezukevich and Donald Garand. He was the brother of the late Doris Harper and Ernest Walbourne, Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday at 11am. Visitation will be prior to the service 10-11am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.
