Robert R. Zubris, 87, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Carol H. (Martens) Zubris.

Born on November 1, 1937 in Boston, he was the son of the late John A. Zubris and Marion A. (Lydick) Zubris. Raised in Boston, he attended Boston Schools. He very proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1955 until 1959.

Robert worked for many years as a Diesel Truck Mechanic. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Robert Zubris, Jr., Anna Heidke, Karen Morrison, Dennis Zubris, Denise Zubris and Jeanne Flaherty; he is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Marion Rooney, Carol Caissie and Deborah Levine.

Funeral services will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, March 17th at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Calling hours in the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00PM-5:00PM.
