Obituary

Robin L. Coughlin, age 56, of North Dighton, formerly of Brockton, passed away on September 13, 2017 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Weymouth, she was the daughter of Crystal A. (Nickell) Coughlin and the late Kenneth A. Coughlin, Sr.

Robin was a graduate of Brockton High School class of 1978, received her Associates Degree from Massasoit Community College, and attended UMASS Dartmouth. For 15 years, she was employed in the Customer Service Department of Bay State Gas. Robin enjoyed cooking and nature, especially being outdoors and caring for her animals.

Robin was the sister of David A. Coughlin of Brockton and the late Kenneth Coughlin, Jr.; longtime loving companion of John Tarvis; niece of Kirby Nickell, Bonetta McDonald, Donna Moore and JC Nickell. She also leaves several cousins including Rick and Tom Coughlin.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Tuesday 4-7pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 10am, followed by burial in Furnace Village Cemetery, Easton.
