Online Obituaries Rochelle (Goldberg) Hyre, 64, a Community Activist and Child Advocate passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 in Boston after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of David Hyre. Born December 16, 1947 in Mineola, New York she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Ann Goldberg. Rochelle was a 33 year resident of Brockton. She touched the lives of hundreds within Brockton, as a social conduit to better their lives and help a community respond to the needs of children. She is survived by her husband, David Hyre of Brockton; her daughter, Heather E. Schauder and her husband Mark of Poway, California; her son, Joshua Hyre and his wife Molly of Norton; her son, Aaron Hyre and his wife Tammy of Mansfield; she was the beloved grandma to Leigh Anna, Talia, Alexandrea, Noah, Jacob and Baylie; her brother, Hugh Goldberg and his wife Susan of Brookfield, Connecticut; her nieces, Michelle and Laura; her nephews, Steven and Michael. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday at 10:30AM. Rabbi Richard Messing will officiate.
