Roderick A. Carlozzi, Jr. Roderick A. Carlozzi, Jr. , 49, of Brockton, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis. He was the best friend, beloved husband and soul mate to his wife Annemarie (Burke) Carlozzi for over 26 years. Rod was born November 18, 1961 in Boston, oldest son of Maureen (Wallace) Crane of Brockton and the late Roderick A. Carlozzi, Sr. Rod grew up in Brockton, lived in Florida and then returned to Brockton and graduated from Southeastern Regional Vocational High School, Class of 1979 which is where he met his wife. Rod worked for Raytheon in Quincy up until he became disabled. An avid NASCAR fan, he loved to travel to New Hampshire to see his favorite driver, Mark Martin race. He also enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and the Brockton Rox. He enjoyed spending time in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his devoted son, Andrew Carlozzi; his adorable granddaughter, Bella Carlozzi (Papa's "Peachy Keene") and Bella's mom, Jennifer; his siblings, Anthony Carlozzi of Brockton, Christopher Carlozzi of Bridgewater and Megan Crane of Brockton; he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren, His In-Laws and wonderful friends who rallied around him. His family will miss his quiet way, he was a good listener and when he had something to say people listened. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton on Monday, May 23rd at 8:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM.
