East Bridgewater

Roger Francis Buron, 79, of East Bridgewater Massachusetts, passed away on July 10, 2026.

Born in Brockton on June 4, 1947, Roger was the son of the late Roland Buron and Barbara Benson. A graduate of East Bridgewater High School, Roger then joined the United States Army before beginning a long career in the automotive recycling industry. He worked alongside Richard Clayton as partial owner of RC Truck Sales in East Bridgewater, where he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of those who knew him through his hard work and dedication.

Roger enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He took great pride in keeping up his yard, rarely missing an opportunity to fire up his beloved weed whacker. Regardless of what season it was, he always had his wood stove lit (even in the summer time.) He loved spending time with friends, never turned down a good donut, and was especially fond of enjoying a family-sized bag of M&M’s and a tall iced coffee. Above all, Roger will be remembered for his good sense of humor, easy going nature, and many laughs shared with family and friends.

Roger was the beloved uncle of Denise McEvoy and Sheila Murphy. He is also survived by his cousin, Connie Teixiera of Lincolnville Center, Maine; his cousin James Morse and his wife, Alice, of San Antonio, Texas; as well as several friends who will miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents, Roger was predeceased by his brother, Wayne R. Buron; his cousin, Patricia Kralicks of Plymouth Massachusetts; and Robert Teixiera, the husband of his cousin Connie.

He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, and the laughter he brought to those fortunate enough to know him.

In keeping with Roger’s wishes, funeral services will be private.
