Ronald B. Goldsmith, 79, of Middleboro, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at his home under the care of his family and hospice. He was the husband of Lynda Goldsmith for 52 years. Ronald and Lynda lived in Easton for 40 years before moving to Middleboro in 2022.

Born on March 29, 1946 in Beverly, Ronald was the son of the late Ralph and Barbara (Hughes) Goldsmith. He earned a bachelor's degree from Northeastern University.

Ronald was a product engineer and worked for Foxboro Company and Rexa Corp.

He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

In addition to his wife, Lynda, Ronald is survived by his daughters Elizabeth DaCosta Neto and her spouse Uriel and Wendy Hammond and her spouse Richard; his grandchildren Sophie DaCosta Neto and Alexander DaCosta Neto; his brother Ralph Goldsmith; and his sister Faye Newhouse. Ronald was also the brother of the late Joanne Goldsmith and Barbara Nelson.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, September 17th from 4:00-6:00 PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 17 Main St., Lakeville.
