Obituary

Ronald F. Levangie, age 74, of Hanover, formerly of Brockton, died July 13, 2014 following a brief illness. He was the son of the late Melvin and Jesse (Foster) Levangie, Sr. Ron was raised in East Bridgewater and was a graduate of East Bridgewater High School. Following graduation, he entered the Coast Guard Reserves and later served in the National Guard. Ron had been employed by Firestone Tire in Brockton and retired from The Coca-Cola Company in Needham. He was a longtime member of the Baalis Sanford Masonic Lodge in Brockton and the Branded Widows Sons Motorcycle Riders Association. He also enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.
Ron is survived by his wife Brenda Levangie of Holbrook, companion Beverly Frattasio, five children Ronald Levangie, Jr. Kimberly Levangie both of Jackson Mississippi, Dana Levangie of Avon, Erik Levangie of Brockton, and Robert Levangie of Norfolk, VA; two grandsons, Jonathan Levangie and Hunter Dow; two sisters Shirley Packard of East Bridgewater and Kathy Edwards of Avon; former wives Mary Kay Levangie and Laurie Levangie and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Carol Ann Levangie and brother of the late Melvin F. Levangie, Jr.
