Ronald W. Mello, 69 years of St. Petersburg, FL formerly of Brockton died Monday May 4, 2009 after a brief illness. Loving husband of Elaine (Good) Mello. Ronald attended Swansea Schools. Prior to retirement Ronald worked for the Teamsters Local 82 and Local 653 as a forklift operator and the Randy Manufacturing Company in Randolph. He was a member of the Franco American Club and life member of Conte Memorial Club in Brockton, the Randolph Chapter of AMVETS and the Elks Lodge 2217 in St.Peterburg, FL. Ronald also proudly served our country for 4 years in the USAF. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Brian and Rory LaBate, and Keith Mello all of NH, Christopher Mello of Taunton, Scott Mello of Brockton, Derek and Melissa Mello of Bridgewater; Marlee Harlfinger of GA and Rhonda Cottrell of AZ; 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, a brother, Kenneth Mello of Fall River; three sisters, Margaret Cabral of FL; Donna Perrault of Somerset and Joyce Cory of RI; A special friend Thomas and Linda McLean of St. Petersburg, FL; several nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers.

A Memorial Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday July 11, 2009 from 1-4pm. PER FAMILY REQUEST NO FLOWERS PLEASE.
