Ronald L. Wagman, 78, of Bridgewater passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston after a brief illness. He was the husband of Gail P. (Maculewicz) Wagman for 58 years. Born in Brockton on February 16, 1943, he was the son of the late Norman Wagman and Laura (Luiz) Wagman. He was raised in Bridgewater and graduated from Bridgewater Public Schools. After high school, Ronald attended college in Boston after serving in the United States Marine Corps. In his early professional career Ronald was the Vice President of Wollaston Credit Union. In 1973 Ronald co-founded Bridgewater Recycling, Inc. where he remained owner and operator for many years before turning the reigns over to his son. Ronald also served on the Board of Directors of Wollaston Credit Union and later, Bridgewater Credit Union for many years. Ronald adored his grandchildren and enjoyed attending their sporting events. He belonged to many local social clubs and enjoyed playing cribbage with his friends. He was proud of his Portuguese heritage and loved attending the Portuguese fiestas every summer with his family. He loved all kinds of music and loved to sing and dance. In addition to his wife, Gail, he is survived by his children David Wagman and his wife Cathy, Lisa Forbes and her husband Robert and Tanya Allen and her husband Scott; and his grandchildren Matthew Wagman, Bryan Wagman, Cole Forbes, Ryann Forbes, Bria Allen, Alexis Allen and Jace Allen. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main Street (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Saturday, January 8th from 2:00-4:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM in the funeral home.
