Born December 30, 1947 in Praia, Cape Verde he was the son of Mateus A. DePina of Brockton and the late Ermelinda (Fernandes) DePina. In addition to his wife he is survived by seven children, seven sisters, six brothers, twelve grandchilden and one great grandchild.
