Rosa Lopes Andrade Rosa Antonio (Lopes) Andrade, 98, of Brockton, died unexpectedly Friday, January 29, 2010 at her home. She was the wife of the late Serafim Andrade. Born December 17, 1911 in Fogo, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Jose Antonio Lopes and Maria Lopes. Mrs. Andrade enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Avelino, Jose, Belarmino, Livio, Joao, Ilina DeAndrade and Celeste Mendes; her sisters Maria Fidalga Rosa and Catarina Lopes; she is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was the mother of the late Alberto DeAndrade and Jaoquim Jose Marcelino DeAndrade. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton on Monday, February 1st at 9:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:30AM.
