Online Obituaries Rosa (Pileggi) Pucci, 93, of Brockton, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of the late Giuseppe Pucci. Born January 1, 1923 in Sambiase, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore Pileggi and Carmela (Pizzonia) Pileggi. Raised and educated in Italy, Rosa immigrated to Canada in 1958 before she moved to the United States making her home in Brockton in 1969. Rosa worked as a seamstress and also for the Braemoor Nursing Home in Brockton before retiring after 17 years of service. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren who were the world to her. She also enjoyed cooking, drawing and will forever be remembered for her creativity with ceramics and cake decorating. She is survived by her children, Anna Pucci-Chaudhry and her husband Javaid Chaudhry, Michael Pucci and his wife Mary, and Denise OBrien and her husband Daniel; her grandchildren Joseph Pucci, Vincent Pucci and Nicholas Pucci. Rosa was the beloved sister of Francesca Davoli, the late Giuseppina Capozzi and Antonio Pileggi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday, November 29th at 9:00 AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church 439 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at10:00AM.
